Glencoe

In the Scottish Highlands is an area called Glencoe or Glencoe village. It can be found on the banks of the River Coe, where it enters Loch Leven.

The village is famous for the Massacre of Glencoe in 1692. 36 Members of the MacDonald clan were killed on behalf of King William III.
